Sometimes all the political news can be a little depressing. Despite the best efforts of the few patriots in America, the combination of the regressive left, PC culture, and the general machinations of the Deep State agenda can leave people feeling a bit disenchanted. So sometimes it’s nice to break the monotony with some uplifting news that sometimes miracles do indeed happen.
In the following video, Right Wing News looks at the miraculous survival of a woman who got zapped with 33,000 volts durinh a freak hot air balloon accident. Despite the extensive recovery period, she expressed gratitude for still being alive. Sometimes, with all the nonsense in our country nowadays, it is still worth remembering how grateful to be for our own lives.

One woman in the United Kingdom is grateful to be alive today after spending a year recuperating from a being nearly burned to death just moments after she snapped a selfie documenting what was supposed to be a joyous adventure.
Rebecca Fry, 22, was a passenger in a hot air balloon last May. She suffered horrific burns to her legs, back and hands when the balloon struck power cables 50 feet above the ground, according to the U.K. Express.
“I’d just finished taking a selfie when I noticed we were heading towards what looked like a telephone pole,” she said in an interview published Friday.

The collision caused the balloon’s basket to burst into flames, and the intense heat caused it to shoot up 100 feet into the air.
“I was trying to scream but I couldn’t open my mouth as the electricity was pressing my teeth together,” Fry said. “I looked down at my legs and they looked like cooked chicken because the skin all hanging off. My leggings were burnt off and melted into my body.”
“I thought I was going to die,” she said. “My body became numb and I thought ‘I’m on fire.’”
Fry was the only passenger. The 64-year-old pilot next to her was not injured, according to The Sun.
The balloon crash-landed in a field. Fry managed to call her parents, who sent paramedics to the scene.
She was airlifted to a hosptial in Birmingham, England, where she spent four weeks in a special unit for burn victims. Nurses there had to cut blisters off her body with scissors before they could treat the burns.
It was a miracle she survived the horrific incident, and she recently spoke about the ordeal for the first time in an effort to share her newfound zest for life and to reach out to others going through a traumatic experience.
“Things have changed for me, and I have come to accept that,” Fry said. “Things that weren’t important to me before, are now and I am treasuring every moment of life.”
